What is Return-to-Player and Why It Matters?
Return to Player value is the key and “first to check” mechanic for all gamblers. It shows you what percent of all money bet on a slot or another casino game will be returned to the player in a certain amount of time. For example, if RTP is 80%, you can be sure that at some moment you will get back $80 from the paid $100.
Why it Matters?
The answer is obvious. The higher Return to Player value, the more you will win. Although, since there are so many probabilities involved in the slot game, the moment of wagering may happen after hours or even days of continuous play. Unawareness of this fact wrecked many gamblers, so be careful!
Sometimes Return to Player value is obvious, sometimes is unclear, and sometimes can’t be calculated at all. Let’s figure this out.
All licensed software providers must provide players with RTP information. It can be be found via the information but somewhere at the slot screen
Unclear on can’t be calculated
RTP is unclear in some games like roulette, but nonetheless it exists and can be calculated. (BTW, it’s better in European Roulette). RTP can’t be calculated at all in games that involve skill, such as blackjack or poker.
Always check Return to Player Value. It’s the essential criterion of game selection.
